Barbara and Evan’s mid-June wedding at Iris Aisle was an intimate celebration of love in nature.

The day began with Barbara getting ready in our whimsical Botanist cabin, accompanied by her mom and close friends. She wore a lacy cap-sleeve gown with a mesh back from Grace + Ivory, complemented by stacked pearl earrings, nude heels, and subtle fragrances from Dior and Burberry. Her hair, styled by Aurora Blush Bridal, was half-up and adorned with delicate crystal hairpins. Evan got into his sharp tan suit in the Garlic tent nestled in our cedar forest.

Evan and Barbara shared a private first look in a serene clearing within the forest, with sunlight filtering through the trees—an intimate moment captured beautifully by Zoey Marie Photography. Barbara also did a more playful first look with the groomsmen, and they had the best reaction to her wedding day look!

The ceremony took place in the greenhouse, where the natural light and lush surroundings created a stunning backdrop for the happy couple to say “I do.” When Barbara and her dad entered for the ceremony, they paused mid-aisle for the cutest selfie. The ceremony space was decorated with our Boston ferns and large tropical plants around the altar where the couple shared sweet vows and exchanged rings in front of their closest friends and family.

Post-ceremony, the celebration moved to the open-air patio for the outdoor reception. We love this space as a reception/dinner area when you want an outdoor reception, but there’s a chance of rain. Our handmade farm tables were draped with green linens and white roses, the plates had lovely vintage-style doily chargers, and menu cards awaited guests at each place setting.

Catering was provided by Eat Streets Food Truck, with The Whimsical Wine Trailer serving a variety of sangria, wines, and beers. The desserts by Parinda Cupcakes were such a treat treat, featuring a cutting cake adorned with the most realistic frosting flowers. Guests also enjoyed delicious lemon lavender and Mexican hot chocolate cupcakes, each topped with a delicate frosting flower of its own. As the evening went on, guests danced in the Conservatory, while lawn games like giant Jenga and bags were set up in the reception clearing.
