Jami + Nathan

Jami and Nathan's early October micro wedding at Iris Aisle was a celebration of love amidst the beauty of fall. The day was bathed with sunshine, casting a warm glow through the cedar trees and illuminating the glass Conservatory. Around the venue, vibrant coleus, gigantic mums, and heirloom pumpkins and gourds in hues of blue, yellow, and orange welcomed the changing seasons.

Jami, along with her mother and bridesmaids, got ready in our whimsical Couple's Cabin nestled in the cedar grove. Jami's white dress from Something Blue was detailed with delicate lace and bead embellishments on the top and a flowy skirt that was perfect for some graceful twirls later in the day.

She wore white ballet flats and a sheer, beaded veil draped over her short curls. Her bouquet was a playful and delicate arrangement of white anemones. Nathan looked sharp in his classic and minimalist black suit and tie from Men's Wearhouse, accessorized with a charming white anemone boutonniere.

Their first look was a private, heartfelt moment in the cedar forest, bathed in the warm, dappled light of early autumn. This was followed by joyful and spirited wedding party and family photos in the clearing as guests arrived for the ceremony.

The ceremony in the greenhouse was set against the always beautiful backdrop of our giant tropical plants. Jami's mother walked her down the aisle, and the happy couple exchanged rings and vows in the octagon end of the Conservatory, guided by Jami’s uncle, who served as their officiant.

Post-ceremony, a beautiful dessert spread awaited the guests, featuring a single-tier white "naked style" cake for the couple and an assortment of cupcakes from Molly's Cupcakes for guests to enjoy. Jami & Nathan sliced into their cake with guests gathered around in the greenhouse, their smiles reflecting the joy of the day.

The newlyweds then took the opportunity to explore the property for some newlywed photos, and we took our traditional polaroid photo of the couple, which found its place on the fridge in the Couple’s Cabin after signing the marriage license. See the photos from their day below, captured by Iris Aisle’s owner and in-house photographer, Raelyn Ramey.
